About this Event

Discover how archaeology and oral tradition helps us better understand how Wampanoag People lived in the 1600s and how they carry on traditions today. Participants will learn about the importance of pottery to Wampanoag families and make and take their own pot using traditional methods.

Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not have to bring your printed ticket to the event. You may give your name to the Event Facilitator at check-in.

Is there lunch available for purchase?

No. Our cafe is closed. Feel free to bring a bagged lunch to eat.

What's the cancellation/refund policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your event program, please contact Christina Basler, Director of Education and Group Programs, at 508-746-1622, ext. 8107 or via email, [email protected], as soon as possible, within the following time frames:

At least two weeks withdrawal notice is required for a full refund.

No refund or credit will be received, when given less than 7 days notice, for cancellation or reschedule; all sales are final.

We reserve the right to cancel an event (low enrollment, inclement weather, etc.) with at least 48-hour advance notification and you will receive a refund for your ticket price.
