Story County Conservation will be partnering with the library to host “Make Your Own Rain Barrel.” Become a water conservationist during this simple rain barrel workshop. Enjoy an educational presentation about the importance of rain barrels. Then, create your very own take home barrel. With your barrel you can reduce the amount of water you use, protect your drainage systems and waterways around you, and contribute to environmental improvement efforts. This fun workshop can be done independently, or you can bring your spouse or roommates to create a barrel together!
