Ahead of National Tree Day, get creative with cartoonist and writer Jess Harwood at this free, hands-on workshop in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.
As part of our Writers in Residence program, this session will guide you through creating your own nature-inspired zine - a fun, accessible way to combine storytelling, drawing, and self-publishing.
🌼 What to expect:
✨ A guided walk through the Garden to spark inspiration
✨ Step-by-step guidance on scripting a short comic story
✨ Create and take home your very own zine
✨ All materials provided – no experience needed!
🌳 Who can join?
Suitable for adults and children (10+). Children must be accompanied by an adult.
