Make your own Mushroom Grow Kit: Lion's Mane & Maitake (2 Day Course)

This class is for people that are curious about or have dabbled in mushroom cultivation and are interested in picking up DIY skills for cultivating mushrooms indoors on their own.

Day 1 - The first day we will clone mushrooms, formulate the substrate, and review sterilization equipment

Day 2 - The next day we will inoculate the substrate we prepared on Day 1 and review equipment and material needs to replicate the process on your own

Participants will take away:

• 1 Lion's Mane grow kit
• 1 Maitake grow kit
• 1 agar plate with cloned mushroom of their choice
• A suggested parts list to get started growing their own mushrooms at home

He now manages Smallhold’s national network of independent mushroom farms to supply local mushrooms to retailers in each region of the country. He’s grown mushrooms inside restaurants, grocery stores, basements, backyards, and huge warehouses.
