In this workshop you will make a hand-sewn stuffie with the distinctive Fuzzpatch-style face!
You will design your unique friend from your choice of pre-cut pieces, or patterns to work from to cut your own. The workshop is designed for all skill levels, from none to some! You can choose to keep it simple, or get real fancy with your cutting and stitching.
All materials will be provided.
- This project will require the ability to grip sewing scissors and manipulate sewing needles and pins.
- This workshop is open to grown ups, teens, and pre-teens who can safely use sharp scissors, and pointy little needles and pins.
What is a Fuzzpatch?
The Fuzzpatch are a family of funny, felty, odd, and colorful guardian animals. The Fuzzpatch are here to love you and support you, and welcome you to their world of kindness and companionship!
Fuzzpatch Studio is a plush art concern featuring custom hand-sewn companions that inhabit the uncanny valley between cute and peculiar. Studio proprietor and workshop instructor Dina Noto is an artist based in Rochester, NY, working in fabric sculpture, illustration, painting, and comics. She has a background in fine arts, animation, and the venerated institution of amateur improv.
