Make your own footstool in just one day!You will learn the basics of making your own footstool from scratch, including webbing, cutting and shaping foam, and then rebuild it using modern upholstery techniques. You will also have the option to paint or stain the feet in a colour of your choice. An ideal workshop for beginners or for those wishing to increase their confidence to tackle larger projects. Our workshops are kept to a maximum of 5 so you will have plenty of guidance and one-to-one tuition.
Your footstool will be approximately 48cm x 36cm, if you wish to upgrade to a larger one please let us know as additional fees apply.
What you need to bring
1 metre of your chosen material. Fabric does not need to be fire retardant as you will be provided with calico.
We do have fabric options available, although these need to be pre-ordered at least 2 weeks prior to the workshop.

All of our workshops are held in the workshop studio upstairs at From Loft to Loved, 11 The Square, Sedgefield TS21 2BN.
Cancellation Policy
Payment for workshops must be made in full at the time of booking. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason please contact us as soon as possible, cancellation fees apply:
Over 21 days before the workshop date - full refund given or the opportunity to book another date
Between 7 and 21 days before the workshop date – no refund given, however you will have the opportunity to book another date
Less than 7 days before the workshop date - no refund given and no opportunity to book another date
Any refund due will be paid to the original payee only and by the original payment method.
If you do not turn up for your workshop, you will not be eligible for a refund nor will you be eligible to move your booking to an alternative date.
In the unlikely event that a workshop has to be cancelled by From Loft to Loved, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to book onto an alternative workshop. You will be given as much notice as possible if a workshop has to be cancelled.
