No experience? No problem. All you need is curiosity, a little imagination, and a willingness to play with ink and paper. You’ll leave with your own hand-lettered creations, fresh skills, and the confidence to keep practicing at home. I’m Chandra Osann, the owner and creator behind Big Girl Press. I’m a lover of words, so it only makes sense that lettering is my style of choice.
It all started with me trying to copy my Dad’s signature; I would practice it until you couldn’t tell the difference between my handwriting and his. That practice became my passion and now—when I listen to music, read a passage, or hear a speech—I’m also thinking of how I can turn the words into art, and how that art can inspire, uplift, and empower not just me, but others, as well.
