Make Your Indie Film Budget

Join us in person for three evenings focused on indie film budgets. Come ready to build your first budget that you could submit to Canadian funders.

The workshop will take place over three evenings: November 10th, 17th & 24th. 6-9pm at Westside Studio.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your production management skills or simply learn a new tool to add to your skill set, this workshop will give you practical, hands-on experience with one of the industry’s essential budgeting programs.

We will go over budgeting concepts, unions, ATL, BTL, production, post and more.

You will be expected to work on your budget outside of class and come to each session with questions and a draft ready for personalized feedback.

A bit about me: I have been an instructor / guest speaker / mentor at the Whistler Film Festival, Humber College, Canadian Film Centre, Niagara College, LIFT & WIFT. As a DGC member, I have been building budgets for years for some of the most successful production companies in Canada. I am looking forward to meeting you!
