Make + Take your own hardbound mini sketchbook with local artist, Julia Bomalaski from 59th Street Gems!
Date: Sunday, July 26th at 1PM
Location: Rockledge Gardens in The Riley Room
Want to learn how to make your own journal, photo album, or sketchbook? On Sunday, July 26th at 1PM, head to The Riley Room at Rockledge Gardens and let your creativity flow as you create your own hardbound pamphlet stitch mini book from start to finish. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned artist, Julia will guide you every step of the way with full instruction and all supplies provided. Additionally, a charm bar will be provided at the end to bedazzle the stitched spine!
Held inside a comfortable, air-conditioned room right at the Gardens, this is a creative experience you'll walk away from with a one-of-a-kind piece of art, made by you!

About the Artist
Julia Bomalaski studied studio art at Florida State University, where she discovered her love for bookbinding through FSU’s Book Structures courses. Now she enjoys sharing the joy of bookbinding with others through workshops and local markets. She is a mom of twins and an avid thimble collector.
