***PERFORMERS***
9:00am - 9:45am
- Alex Converse
Performs originals, covers, and traditional tunes. Many have commented that he is gradually improving.
10:00am - 10:45am
- Marah & Jesse Gildersleeve
A couple that discovered early on in their relationship a mutual love for music, though very different in musical tastes. In time a metalhead and a musical theatre buff have started to combine their skills to perform in front of friends and family, and are now excited to share ourselves with the public as well.
11:00am - 11:45am
- Mrs. C and Her Ukes
Mrs. C. plays the ukulele and sings her own originals as well as fun sing along favorites.
12:00pm - 12:45pm
- RavenSwing
Ravenswing is a band that plays like they're dancing, weaving together the brilliance of Scottish repertoire with the gritty drive of New England contra dance rhythms. While Abi Sandy and Crystal Zhu grew up playing music across New England and New York, the duo came together in Scotland while traveling with the Edinburgh University Folk and Traditional Music Society, bonding over their shared love for community through music and dance on both sides of the Atlantic. Since then, their joyful arrangements and compositions have energized concert halls and dance floors across New England, the Midwest, and the UK. Their love for the places they have been and the people they have played with shines through every set they play.
1:00pm - 1:45pm
- Jesse Carlson & Daughters
Singer/songwriter in awe of Gregory Alan Isakov and lover of indie/folk along with his two kid accompanists.
2:00pm - 2:45pm
- High Strung Acoustic Trio
High Strung is a trio sampling from the different kinds of music within the genre of Americana. Their sets include bluegrass, blues, folk and country, and include both old-time and contemporary tunes. The trio features Joe Irvin on guitar and harmonica, Megan Jackson on baritone ukulele, and Jeannette Deloya on guitar and strumstick, a dulcimer-like instrument. Their instruments power warm vocals and tight harmonies.
3:00pm - 3:45pm
- Graham Marlowe (aka LAKEWAVES)
Lakewaves is a trippy instrumental exploration led by Madison keyboardist Graham Marlowe. Known for his "synthesizer graffiti," Marlowe’s solo sets are hypnotic, sonic adventures that range from blissed-out ambient textures to complex, groove-based "astrometric" space music. Drawing on a background in classical, avant-garde, and film scoring, he uses a massive library of found sounds and bargain-bin treasures to build spontaneous, cinematic soundscapes. Whether he’s playing a gallery or a sidewalk, Lakewaves treats the room as a blank canvas for psychedelic experimentation.
4:00pm - 7:00pm (sign up @ 3:30pm)
- Cargo Coffee Open Mic - OUTDOORS
Cargo Coffee East's longtime running OPEN MIC will be held outdoors in celebration of Summer Solstice.
