Participants are provided a harmonica from Easttop Harmonica when they register for the Make Music Day event. This is a really great introduction to an instrument you can take with you anywhere!
Tuning up for the Make Music Kansas City Harmonica Experience! With Russ "KidMan" Schenke on harmonica accompanied by Patrick Recob on guitar they were demonstrating some blues riffs for the local news station.
Originally from Chicago, instructor Russ Schenke played and recorded with several American Roots and Blues bands before moving to Kansas City and becoming part of Blues scene. He has focused for over a decade on blues harmonica, learning tone, style and skill from local Blues legend Lee McBee, Jimmie Meade of LeVee Town and other KC harmonica greats.
