What is Make-it Sew?
Make-it Sew is a FREE sewing program to teach participants how to use a sewing machine. We then help guide participants in practicing their new sewing skills while providing easy to understand projects, along with all the materials.
We have all the materials!
Sewing machines, fabric and sewing accessories will be provided for FREE.
Important Information:
- Make-it Sew is self-directed, adding to your DIY journey. It is not a sewing class.
- Registration is not required. The space at Swasey is much larger than the space we had at the tool library. Capacity is determined by number of sewing machines available and the number of participants that are going to sit through Sewing Machine 101 instructions and the number of participants that will be working on self-directed projects.
- Adolescents 14 years and older can attend with a parent if they are participating in sewing.
