"Hacking" means making modifications to an existing pattern to transform it into something new!This class is two sessions. The first session meets on Saturday, November 23rd and the second session meets the following Saturday, November 30th from 10-1pm.
Here's how the Make + Hack works:
You choose which pattern you would like to make, either the Sorbetto Tank or the Hansie Top, both by Seamwork. They are free PDF patterns, so you will need to print out and assemble your pattern before the first class. When you sign up, we'll send you a video on how to do this!
In the first session, we'll cut out your pattern in your size and make it! We'll also talk about ways you might want to "hack" it for the next session, like elongating the top to make a shift dress, or crop it and add a gathered panel to make a midi. In the second session, we'll modify your pattern and make a "hacked" version!
