Make And Take Epoxy River Serving Board

This is our Number 1 requested class! Perfect project for the gift giving season. Whether you give the gift of experience by purchasing a ticket for someone else or make the tray yourself to give away. Heck, it may look so beautiful you will want to keep it for yourself! With the guidance and assistance of our skilled instructor... Students will be making a wood and epoxy "RIVER TABLE STYLE" charcuterie board. FInished size is 12" x 18". This is an excellent class if you are looking to make a larger river table in the future . You learn the dos and donts before making the investment for larger scaled projects, saving you time, frustration and loss of materials/money. You will be selecting and cutting wood on a band saw, mixing and pouring MAS Deep Pour Epoxy into Rockler's EXCLUSIVE (did you know we hold over 100 Patents?) silicone mold and adding a colorant of your choice such as MIXOL or EYE CANDY among other options to create your desired look. This is completed in the first class. Due to the nature of epoxy needing to cure over a period of time you will return exactly one week later to "demold" your board, flatten it using our planer, sanding, then finishing to a lustrous finish. All materials are included in a one time class fee. If you do not have personal protective equipment it will be provided for you. Close toed shoes are required for all our classes. This class is open to ages 14 and up. 14-17 Must have a parent or legal guardian present at all times. Students receive a 15% discount card for day of the class, some restrictions apply.
