Get your ideas onto the page and finally MAKE THAT ZINE!Zines are small books, usually made out of a single sheet of paper, that anyone can make! In this all-ages, weekend workshop, join us to develop your zine from start to finish. Learn different ways to fold the same piece of paper to acquire different zine formats. Each month we'll focus on a different topic so you can keep coming back to make more!
This class is perfect for zinesters who need a little more time to think of the perfect ideas and layouts. The cost of the class includes 10 copies of your zine printed on your choice of Risograph colors or on our Laserjet printer.
October: Comics! In celebration of 24 Hr Comics Day, we'll use zines to make small comics that we can finish during the weekend. Have a comic character in mind? Or want to make an autobiographical comic about something fun you did this past week? All are welcome--even if you've never written a comic before. This class takes place from 5-7 pm on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5.
