Make a Wooden Thumb Book Page Holder A beginner woodshop class at Grand River Makerspace
Ever dog-ear your pages and immediately regret it? Come make something better.
In this quick, hands-on class, you'll build your own wooden thumb book page holder from scratch — a functional little keepsake that's equal parts useful and satisfying to make. No woodworking experience needed. Joseph will walk you through every step, and you'll leave with a finished piece you actually made yourself.
What you'll learn:
- Basic woodshop safety and tool handling
- Cutting and shaping wood to size
- Sanding and finishing techniques
All materials and tools are provided. Just show up ready to make something.
When: Tuesday, June 17 · 6:30–7:30 PM Where: Grand River Makerspace · 25 N. Park St. NW, Walker, MI Cost: $15 members / $25 non-members
This class is a great first step into the woodshop — and a great excuse to finally finish that book on your nightstand.
