Spend a day being inspired by working with a wide choice of vibrant glass colours to make a beautiful 3d stained glass tea light holder, which doubles up as a free standing glass panel, to take home at the end of the day.Learn basic glass cutting, copper foiling and soldering techniques, and a bit about designing for stained glass or be spontaneous with your pattern, and make it up as you arrange your glass pieces. There will also be set patterns to choose from and the tutor is open to discuss any ideas you want to realise even if they don’t fit the theme.
Copper foiling is a way of assembling differently coloured glass pieces used in the making tiffany lampshades
Learn how to make patterns for a small stained glass panel or choose a pattern provided
Learn and develop basic glass cutting techniques
