At IOB@Riveredge Nature Center, students will literally jump into creativity by stepping into the river to explore its living ecosystem! With curiosity and compassion, they’ll observe real river creatures and then use iPads to imagine their own species or build a dream habitat, learning how adaptations help nature thrive. Get ready to blend biology, art, and big imagination in the great outdoors!
Please Note: We’re heading into nature! That means mud, water, and serious fun! Students who choose to explore the river will be provided with waders by Riveredge Nature Center, but we still recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy. A full change of clothes (including socks and shoes!) is a great idea to keep you comfy after your outdoor adventure. Don’t forget to check the weather and dress for the day…it’s all part of the fun!
