Make your own Pearl necklace - pearls knotted on silk.Our Pearl Knotting Workshop for beginners is the perfect introduction to the art of creating beautiful and timeless pearl jewellery. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the traditional technique of knotting pearls on silk thread, a skill that has been passed down through generations.
During this in-person workshop, you will be guided by experienced instructor who will teach you various techniques for knotting pearls, as well as how to choose the right materials and tools for the job. You will also learn about different types of pearls and how to care for your jewellery to ensure it lasts a lifetime.
You will receive a 15 inch string of white Freshwater Cultured Pearls, silk thread and all the necessary components - in Sterling Silver - to create an 18 inch Pearl necklace.
If you want to make a longer necklace, you can purchase additional pearls on the day for an additional charge.
This Beginners Pearl knotting class will be in the St Josephs Community Centre, Leitrim Village, Co Leitrim on Sunday 18th May, from 10am to 3.30pm approx. English speaking tutor. This is an accessible venue with ample parking.
All necessary materials provided, use of all relevant tools included. Tea/coffee will help fuel the creativity.
