Make a Chopping Board or Clock Face: Power Tools 101, Ōwairaka Connecting Communities Hub, Tuesday 16th June, 10am-1pm
Join us for a creative woodworking session where you can design and make your own chopping board or unique clock face using power tools and wood burning techniques.
Learn the basics of measuring, shaping, sanding, and using woodworking tools in a supportive environment. Personalise your piece by burning in your own design with our soldering irons, whether it’s a pattern, quote, artwork, or something completely your own.
Create something practical, decorative, and one of a kind while building confidence with tools and creative making.
What to Bring and Wear:
* Closed-toe shoes
* Comfy clothes (not too loose)
* A jacket or hat - some parts may be outside!
* Snack, lunch and Water Bottle
