Join Jablon Studios for a fun, hands-on fused glass workshop benefiting the Jewish Community Center. This creative evening is a great way to support the JCC while learning the art of fused glass and making beautiful, functional pieces.
🟦 Project: Glass Fused Coasters
Participants will create TWO (2) glass fused coasters.
⚠️ Important note:
The photo used on the flyer shows 4 coasters, but each participant will be making 2 coasters during this workshop.
The coasters are perfect for everyday use or gifting and will be designed entirely by you.
🎨 Materials & Instruction
Artists will work with a wide variety of glass, including:
Transparent & opaque glass
Glass frit
Glass powders
Glass stringer
Glass lace
Murrine and decorative elements
You’ll learn:
How to cut and shape glass safely
How to design fused glass pieces that fire successfully
How to layer glass for color, texture, and depth
How to use powders, lace, and stringer for detail
No experience needed — this class is beginner-friendly and great for first-time glass artists.
🔥 Firing & Pickup
All coasters will be professionally kiln-fired by Jablon Studios.
🕒 Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in 1–2 weeks
📍 Pickup will be at the Jewish Community Center
