Maiz Nation whiskey is distilled from four ancient corn varietals cultivated in the Mexican state of Oaxaca: Chalqueño, Bolita, Tepecintle and Olotillo. From the dawn of agriculture their seeds have been selected and handed down to each succeeding generation by Zapotec, Mixtec and Chinantec knowledge keepers and farmers,with each farm reflecting their specific regional ecosystems.

These ancient grains come together to form Maiz Nation's award-winning whiskies, plus 100% rainwater and solar powered distilling at their Solcraft Distillery.
