And now. I can share with you through real reason for celebration!
Back in the beginning of the year I entered a competition to win a little book stop (little library) from Penguin 🐧 Publishing Company for the village. This was through the book club
Rectory Readers.
Out of 2500 applications I was lucky enough to be one of 90 winners 🏆
The Maisemore Community Book Event is a celebration of this win, and an excuse for a good 'ole community knees up!

Meet and Greet with Amanda Prowse (Author)
Amanda Prowse is a multi-million bestselling author who has published more than thirty novels and is one of the most prolific writers of contemporary fiction in the UK today. Crowned 'the queen of family drama' by the Daily Mail, she writes about life's challenges-from heartbreak and loss to dysfunctional family dynamics-but also about the pockets of delight that can be found in our relationships with others, often when we need them most. Amanda is known for her relatable characters, emotionally compelling plots, and the sense of connection that readers feel with her stories. My novels to date are contemporary women’s fiction with a light-hearted tone. What interests me most is people; their interactions, emotions and relationships, which is what led to me training to become a Psychodynamic Counsellor. I am passionate about mental health matters and believe that when it is hard to find or speak thoughts and feelings, the medium of writing can become an effective tool for accessing unconscious processes and promoting and supporting mental wellbeing.
I’m a graduate of the Romantic Novelists’ Association New Writers’ Scheme and must attribute this supportive and informative programme to the achievements in my writing career to date, including my debut novel, Meet Me at Number Five.
