Meet and Greet with Amanda Prowse (Author)Amanda Prowse is a multi-million bestselling author who has published more than thirty novels and is one of the most prolific writers of contemporary fiction in the UK today. My novels to date are contemporary women’s fiction with a light-hearted tone. What interests me most is people; their interactions, emotions and relationships, which is what led to me training to become a Psychodynamic Counsellor. I am passionate about mental health matters and believe that when it is hard to find or speak thoughts and feelings, the medium of writing can become an effective tool for accessing unconscious processes and promoting and supporting mental wellbeing.
I’m a graduate of the Romantic Novelists’ Association New Writers’ Scheme and must attribute this supportive and informative programme to the achievements in my writing career to date, including my debut novel, Meet Me at Number Five.
