Mairearad Green

Having grown up in the West Coast Coigach peninsula of the Scottish Highlands – an area steeped in culture and local traditions – Mairearad was introduced to folk music at an early age. Renowned for her deft and lyrical accordion style, as well as her dextrous piping, and haunting vocals, Mairearad is in great demand as a performer and composer.
To celebrate the launch of her new album, Tìm, Mairearad will be joined by multi-instrumentalist, Mike Vass for a special live performance at The Tolbooth on Saturday 1st August.
