Each month, ACORN members and neighbors meet at our local community chapter meetings to discuss local issues, recent updates on ACORN's campaigns, and plan actions to fight for positive change.
Do you live on the Mainland (eg Spryfield, Armdale, Cowie Hill, Fairview, Clayton Park, Sherwood Heights, Bedford etc), and are you facing an issue in your community that you'd like to see changed? Do you want to learn more about ACORN and how we work? Are you frustrated with the issues low and moderate income people are facing in NS and want to join the fight for change?
Then JOIN US for the next ACORN meeting near you! For our Mainland chapter, we meet on the second Saturday of each month at 11:30AM at the Chocolate Lake Recreation Center (1014 Purcells Cove Rd).
We will be in the downstairs project room, if you ask the front desk they will direct you where to go.
