Our Mission: The goal of Maine's AfroChella is to empower minority students, specifically women of color, by celebrating their cultural backgrounds, fostering diversity and inclusion, and promoting self-expression through fashion. This year, we are expanding our program to include an educational segment on the history of Black hair and its cultural significance.
