Bayside Bowl & Necessary Music Productions are excited to announce the Rock Salt Resistance! concert hosted by Maine Rock Against Racism on Friday February 20th! This event will serve as a positive example of community in action against Federal overreach & aggression against our communities & will directly benefit the Maine Immigrant Rights Coalition & Food For All Services which has been coordinating food deliveries to our neighbors who have been home bound during the most recent surge of Federal immigration raids in Maine.
We are extremely proud to have Maine's own Grammy winning singer-songwriter Dave Gutter (Rustic Overtones & Paranoid Social Club) playing a special solo set! Also playing will be The Midnight Riders (alt. country rock), Roots, Rhythm & Dub (reggae songs for justice), The Button Men (political 80s synth by Wally), Will Bradford (SeepeopleS, theWorst) & Sparxsea & finally Random Ideas (Feminist pride punk rockers). All the artists are donating their time, songs & voices to this community event to help build a stronger Maine as we persevere thru the dark days upon us all. There will be organizations tabling for outreach & educational purposes with donation jars. And we will have Maine Rock Against Racism t-shirts, hats, hoodies & posters donated by Arm Factory Printing. So bring some extra cash if you are inspired to grab some of the merchandise or support any of these great groups working to protect Mainers.
