We invite everyone to join us on 6th October for the annual Maidenhead Boundary Walk and make this the best year ever with a record-breaking number of walkers. Open to walkers of all ages and abilities, whether you are an individual, group or family this is your opportunity to participate in an historical event, have some fun, and raise much needed money for your chosen causes.
This year, we are proud to be supporting Alzheimer's Dementia Support, with any proceeds from the event being donated to this amazing local charity.
This annual event allows walkers to raise money through sponsorship for their favourite charities whilst enjoying a very interesting walk through some beautiful parts of the Berkshire countryside re-tracing the old boundary of the ancient town of Maidenhead in the Royal County of Berkshire. Alternatively, participants can do the walk just for fun or to help raise money for the Rotary Club's own charitable work.
SHORTER FAMILY WALK - a nice stroll from Boulters Lock Carpark, round Boulters Island, crossing the river to the Taplow side before heading back in what we hope will be a picturesque walk taking in the views and wildlife.
JOIN US in what we hope will be a fun event and an opportunity for walkers to participate in the history of the Boundary walk. Good luck!
Registration for group of 15 or more is just £30 for the traditional walk and £10 for the 5k Family Walk, if you register in advance by 9th September. So grab your friends, get your PTA together or charity group and get walking!
