Join Mind Your Mahjong at Aslin Beer Co. Washington, DC for Mahjoween—a festive evening of American Mahjong, great company, and a little Halloween spirit.
Whether you’ve never touched a mahjong tile or already know your way around the NMJL card, choose the experience that’s right for you:
🎃 Beginner Lessons
New to American Mahjong? Come learn! This welcoming, hands-on lesson is designed for first-time and newer players. We’ll cover the tiles, Charleston, rules, strategy basics, and guided game play.
No experience or equipment needed. Everything you need to learn is provided.
🀄 Experienced Open Play
Already know how to play? Grab a seat for a relaxed evening of hosted open play with other mahjong players.
Come with your mahj crew or come on your own. We will help get tables together.
Please bring your current 2026 NMJL card.
🎁 Mahjoween Raffle
Every registered guest receives an entry for a chance to win a mahjong-inspired prize.
Want an extra entry? Dress for Mahjoween! A full costume isn’t necessary—a witch hat, spooky sweater, Halloween earrings, orange and black, or a little festive flair all count.
