Join One Bam Birdie Society for a fun evening of Mahjong at The Story Collective in downtown Saint Joseph!

Whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting started, this relaxed open play event is the perfect way to unwind, connect, and enjoy a fun night out. And if you haven't been in this beautiful, cozy bookstore yet, you're in for a treat!

🀄️ Open Play is designed for players who are comfortable with the basics and ready to jump into a game.

🌱 Beginner Lesson seats are available for those who want guided instruction while they play.

Please bring your own Mahjong card. A limited number will be available to borrow if needed. Those at the learners table will be provided a card for play that evening.

Come solo or bring a friend—tables will be set and ready for a laid-back, social summer night of Mahjong. The Story Collective will also be open for business so you can peruse and take home your next page turner!
