Hi Ladies!
I'm excited to host another Mahjong Night/Afternoon!
In order to best plan I've created this event to get us organized. While I'm happy to provide the space, I don't have enough Mahjong sets and card tables to host! So I'll need some help!
Please only RVSP yes if you know you will be coming. If that changes please update! If you are interested but unsure, please RSVP maybe. Due to the game and set up needs, it's really important I understand how many are coming.
I have enough space to host 16 -20 people (4-5 games). This means we possibly need 3 more card tables with 4 chairs each and 3-4 more mahjong sets.
I'm also hopeful there will be a few people that know the game, I am not a super master at it, but know enough to play. This is going to be a fun learning time for us all! So it's totally fine if you are new to the game. I'm going to drop in some good tutorial videos so you can learn a bit before you come. If anyone knows someone really good at Mahjong that could help teach, see if they can come!
I'll be providing some light snacks and drinks. Please bring your own drinks (soda, wine, etc). If you would like, feel free to bring snacks. I'll create a comment thread on this just so we don't double up on a bunch.
Address to come closer to the even, but I live at 204th and F in Elkhorn. Plenty of street parking, but please be respectful of my neighbors being able to get in and out of their driveways. Ideally parking on the grass side of the street, not directly in front of houses.
If you have your own 2026 card please bring! I’ll plan to have backup for anyone that doesn’t have a card.
We are a dog friendly house, which will be downstairs. But just want anyone with allergies to be aware.
