Mahjong is a tile-based strategy game originating in 19th-century China, typically played by four players. Using a set of 144 tiles, players draw and discard with the goal of building a winning hand — think of it as similar to rummy, but with beautifully illustrated tiles instead of cards. It's a mix of skill, strategy, and luck, and has been enjoyed across cultures worldwide for over a century. It's highly social, endlessly fun, and easier to pick up than it looks!
