About this Event
You’ve learned how to build a winning hand. Now it’s time to learn how to win well.
Mahjong 2.0 is designed for players who already know how to complete a basic “chicken hand” and are ready to take the next step in Hong Kong Style Mahjong.
In this session, we move beyond simply finishing a hand and focus on:
• What makes a hand point-worthy
• Where bonus points come from
• How to intentionally build higher-value hands
• When to pivot — and when to hold back
Because in mahjong (and in life), "Just because you can doesn’t mean you should...."
We’ll dive into real game strategy — reading the table, protecting your hand, making smarter discards, and playing with intention. This is where the game becomes layered, thoughtful, and truly addictive.
If someone taught you the basics — 4 sets of 3 plus a pair — but you’re not sure how to score or approach the game strategically, this class is for you.
If you enjoyed Mahjong 1.0, you’ll be hooked on Mahjong 2.0.
Come ready to see the game in a new way and take your understanding to the next level.
