Mahjong 101: Learn to play at Lone Star Winery

This is a guided, beginner-friendly class designed to teach you how to play mahjong with confidence. We’ll walk through the fundamentals step by step—so by the end of the session, you’ll understand the game and be actively playing at the table. No prior experience needed—and no need to bring anything. I’ll have everything required to play ready for you.

You’ll learn:

• The basic rules and flow of the game
• How to read the card and build a hand
• Key strategies to get started

• Wine and food will be available for purchase throughout the event. (Lone Star will also provide light snacks for the tables.)
• Coming with friends? Add their names at checkout and we’ll do our best to seat you together.
• Limited to 16 guests
• Seating is arranged by table
• Please arrive on time so we can begin together
