Mahj 101: Beginner Class
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
In this session, we'll introduce you to the basics of American Mahjong, including:
- The Mahjong tiles
- How to read the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card.
- The Deal
- The Charleston
- Basic rules and gameplay
Lunch Break
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Lunch is on your own: The Bay View Inn will be offering lunch service or you are welcome to explore other local spots!
Mahj 102: Intermediate Class
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Ready to level up? In this session, we'll dive deeper into rules, tips for winning, fun strategies, and the finer details that will take your game to the next level.
Whether you're new to Mahjong or just want to brush up on your skills, you'll leave with the knowledge and confidence to start playing — plus some fun new friends to enjoy the game with!
Cost: $140, which includes both classes. Payment is required at time of booking. Life happens — we understand! Please note that classes cancelled less than 72 hours in advance will not be refunded.
