Join us at The Block Shop Games for an introduction to the hottest game around! American Mahjong is a tile based game that uses skills, strategy and a little bit of luck. This beginner lesson will cover skills, etiquette, and guided play. If you've been curious about what the fuss is all about - join us! $35 covers all materials for game play as well as handouts to take home and keep practicing. *Outside food/drink is welcome. DM with any questions!We teach and follow National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules for play. You will gain an overview of basic gameplay - it is recommended that you attend a Mahj 102 event to further your understanding of the rules and etiquette of the game before attending social play events.
