House of Bliss Kirtan returns for 2026 with a celebration for Mahashivaratri on Saturday February 14th – and it’s also valentine’s day – the day of love for lovers around the world…We are excited to begin the year with this auspicious evening in the Vedic Calendar…
And we welcome you, our beloved Sangha, to join us in Brunswick Heads for a magical, expansive, divine evening as we connect our hearts and minds with ‘Chidananda Rupa Shivoham’ – ‘I am the form of consciousness & bliss, I am Shiva’

We welcome you to share in our evening of conjuring the vast emptiness in us all, with Abhishekam puja from 5.30pm with chanting from 7.00-8.45pm.

A little bit more about the ritual of Mahashivaratri
It’s traditional to undergo purification rituals, fast entirely, or from certain foods, and undertake a night-long vigil for Shivaratri – meditating, visiting temple, chanting mantra or kirtan and bhajan, after performing an abhishekam puja on Shivalingham, the symbol of Shiva.
