Magnificat December 2024 Meal

Welcome to the Magnificat Meal-December 2024 event! Join us at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church for a day filled with delicious food, great company, and uplifting conversations. Come and gather with men and women from all over the valley, as we gather to share this meal, sing, pray & hear the testimony of one person who will tell how God has worked in their life. In this way, we MAGNIFY the name of the Lord & honor Our Blessed Mother.

For this meal come hear Kay Kandas and listen to the journey of her when she started a Catholic women’s Bible study in Arizona in 2002. Since then, hundreds of women have come to know the Lord in a more intimate way using the gifts of the Holy Spirit, prayer and praise, meditation on and study of the scriptures, and loving fellowship. As a true servant leader, Kay has led dozens of studies and has inspired women to become all they are created to be as “beloved daughters of the Most High God.” The Phoenix Diocesan Council of Catholic Women named Kay the 2010 Woman of the Year. She continually pursues education in the field of Catholic leadership, pursuing studies at the University of Mary and the Kino Catechetical Institute in the diocese of Phoenix, Arizona.

Kay has been married for 36 years to Wayne Kandas. They have raised 4 children and has 6 grandchildren. In her 4th quarter of life, she plans to spend as much time as possible enjoying her grandkids, children, and traveling with Wayne.

Please, bring a friend, a neighbor, or maybe a relative who doesn't go to church anymore. They may not go to church with you, but who doesn't love to go out for lunch? Magnificat is often a way back to the Church. Dress is nice, casual.
