Join Magisterra Soloists for an afternoon of masterworks for piano trio, featuring piano trios by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Anton Arensky, and Cécile Chaminade. Spanning different generations and musical styles, these composers each bring a distinctive voice to the intimate combination of piano, violin, and cello.

About the Series

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Magisterra Soloists’ 2026–2027 season marks a decade of artistic excellence, ambitious programming, and cultural impact in London, Ontario. The anniversary season features the most ambitious slate of artistic initiatives in the ensemble’s history, including seven newly commissioned works by Canadian composers, with world premieres presented throughout the season. The year also celebrates the international release of Magisterra’s debut recording on Toccata Classics, featuring the world-premiere recordings of Ferdinand Thieriot’s two octets. Together, these initiatives mark a milestone season that reflects Magisterra’s continued commitment to artistic innovation, Canadian music, and bringing exceptional chamber music to audiences in London and beyond.
