Come learn about them, what they can do for you and your home and ritual space, and make several organic smoke cleaning wands you can take home, from herbs and plants Brita will provide that she grows or collects on her land.
Come join Anthropologist and herbalist Brita Wynn Dinsmore for a fun and informative lesson on making and using plant bundles for ritual, protection, offering, and cleansing. Learn not only how to make a variety of smudge bundles using lots of fresh herbs from her organic garden, but also what the word smudge actually means, the history of burning herb bundles, cross culturally, how to be respectful when harvesting, how to avoid cultural appropriation issues, and proper use.
Fee includes instructions, all herbs needed, and materials for making several smudge sticks and bundles to take home, tools will be provided. Please bring old, non-glossy newspaper with you if available.
When attending classes at Crescent Moon, please park in our back parking lot, which is accessible from Rochester Street.
