Join local artist Claudia Croneberger for a wonderfully creative and relaxing two-hour workshop where you'll craft your own beautiful, one-of-a-kind rain stick. Rain sticks are ancient ritual percussion instruments, traditionally made from dried cactus and used to create soothing, meditative sounds. Inspired by her passion for music and clay, Claudia has reimagined this timeless instrument in ceramic form- blending artistry, sound, and craftsmanship. During this hands-on experience, you'll design and create your own ceramic rainstick to take home. The gentle, cascading sound of your finished piece will offer years of calming, meditative sound therapy and serve as a meaningful reminder of your creative experience. Come unwind, explore your creativity, and make something truly special.

More about Claudia Croneberger:
I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. From childhood sketches to oil painting, mosaics, ceramics, fabric art, music, and gardening, creative expression has always been essential to my well-being. I see beauty in nature, in people, and especially in the movement of light and the ever-changing colors of the sea. To me, there is music and emotion in these moments, and I believe everything carries an inner light that connects us all. Living abroad in Italy and Germany deeply influenced my work. Studying with Italian masters and immersing myself in different cultures expanded both my artistic voice and my worldview. My love of mosaics grew from the powerful idea that something beautiful can emerge from broken pieces. My work ranges from playful scenes meant to spark joy to deeper explorations of resilience, connection, and inner strength. Having experienced daily earthquakes while living in Italy, I learned the importance of living in the present and choosing joy, even amid uncertainty. That philosophy informs all of my art.Sometimes I carefully plan each piece; other times I allow intuition to guide me. My creative process is meditative and deeply spiritual. Ultimately, I create to share light, beauty, and the belief that we are all more powerful and connected than we realize.
