About this Event
Join Bilbo’s adventure of a lifetime with Dwarves to befriend, Trolls to trick, Elves to outwit, and songs to sing. There's gold or dragon’s fire at the end, so enjoy the journey! From riddles in the dark to the gleam of a hoard under the mountain, each card is faithfully pulled straight from the pages of The Hobbit. The brave (and fortunate) will even make the Headliner Gleaming Gold Smaug the Magnificent their treasure.
Whether you’re gathering for an unexpected party or seeking treasure beneath the Mountain, every card invites you to go there and back again.
Prerelease celebrates the launch of a new set and is your first opportunity to explore what the set has to offer. Players open a Prerelease Pack, build a 40-card Sealed deck, and play with the set for the first time in a casual and fun environment.
Each kit contains:
- 6 The Hobbit Play Boosters
- 1 Traditional foil Rare/Mythic Rare card
- 1 oversized Spindown life counter die
This is a casual Event and the entry fee is just the cost of the kit. Participants will play 3 rounds of Swiss using the decks they constructed using the kit.

NO REFUNDS on orders when we are within 7 days of the Event.
Prizing: Players who complete all three (3) rounds will be rewarded with two (2) Play Booster Packs of The Hobbit.
Please note: A prerelease kit will be held for the ticketholder for seven (7) days after the Event. If the kit is not picked up within that time frame, it will become available for general sale. No refunds will be offered on the original purchase.
