Magic of Indigo Workshop

Ages 12 and up. Discover the beauty and mystery of indigo dyeing in this hands-on workshop with fiber artist Susan Livingston. Participants will work with two different indigo vats while learning several shibori (resist-dyeing) techniques. Susan will share her personal tips and techniques to help make the dyeing process easy, enjoyable, and successful for beginners and experienced makers alike. During this immersive 5-hour workshop, participants will create three unique hand-dyed pieces to take home, working with a variety of materials including silk, cotton, and flour cloth. All supplies are included.
