Charlie appears regularly at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. Originally from New York Charlie Mount developed his comedy/magic act at Manhattan’s famed Magic Towne House and became a regular at the famed Comedy Cellar in Greenwich Village. This led to magic appearances at The Sands Casino in Atlantic City, touring with the Holland America cruise line, and on TV in Beverly Hills 90210, The MTV Big Show, and Magic’s Greatest Illusions.
After moving to Los Angeles Charlie began writing, directing and producing. He served as the Artistic Director for the critically acclaimed Chestnuts Theatre Program at Theatre West where he directed the Ovation nominated MGM legend Betty Garrett in Waiting in the Wings, and earning an Ovation nomination for “Best Play” for his production of Waiting For Lefty. Charlie also directed Beau Bridges and his daughter Emily in the original production of Acting The First Six Lessons, as well as the Off-Broadway comedy hit Our Man In Santiago, by Mark Wilding. Together with Ray Bradbury and his Pandemonium Theatre Company Charlie produced Ray’s Irish play Falling Upward, and later played Ray onstage in Martians - An Evening With Ray Bradbury. Charlie also writes and produces for an award winning podcast called Theatre of the Mind. Most recently Charlie appeared in his own play Here Be Dragons opposite Supernatural’s Jim Beaver.
Sharpo began his professional entertainment career in 1989. He has co-starred as an actor in several primetime network television roles and films including Broad City, Star Trek Voyager, Wings, and a recurring role as "Benny" on UPN's In The House with LL Cool J, Debbie Allen, and Kim Wayans. Eric had a memorable cameo in the the 90's blockbuster movie, Liar Liar, with Jim Carrey. He was featured in his famous mystery Detective role on KTLA Morning News with Allie MacKay. Sharpo was the featured magician in Harrah's First Resort For Fun commercial.
Sharpo has written, produced and performed his acclaimed mystery & magic shows for countless parties, events and dinner theater productions at notable venues and theaters, such as the world famous Magic Castle, on stage at the magnificent Shrine Auditorium, onboard the treasured Queen Mary, onstage at the historic El Cid Dinner Theater on Sunset Blvd, fabulous Le Chene in Santa Clarita, the haunted and historic Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, and many many more unique and popular "Must Visit" destinations.
Together these two tricksters have created a unique magic act whose style and verve harken back to their respective East Coast roots, from those old timey Boardwalk days of hustle and bustle — (but mostly hustle.)
