Madly Backwards is a rock band from Richmond, VA. Electric guitars, vocal harmonies, and deep grooves wrap you in the swagger of a well-worn denim jacket. They draw equally from indie rock, roots, jam, and psychedelic music for a distinctive sonic palette and then deliver thoughtfully crafted songs in a high-energy rock show. The band is built on the songs of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eric Sites. The lineup is rounded out by Alex Martin on drums, Matt Morin on bass, and Jon Rasnake on lead guitar with all members featuring on both lead and backup vocals.
