ABOUT TUSHITA SHRIVASTAV
Tushita Shrivastav is a powerhouse Bhangra and Bollywood dancer and choreographer based in New York City. Her dance journey began with the Vanderbilt BhangraDores, her college dance team, where she discovered the vibrant world of Bhangra and developed a deep connection to South Asian dance.
After graduating in 2018, Tushita continued to immerse herself in the South Asian dance community. In 2019, she began teaching her own Bhangra Fusion classes, bringing together her love for Bhangra with contemporary Bollywood movement and her own energetic choreographic style.
Since then, she has continued to share her craft through classes, performances and workshops, including Desi Dance Fest 2.0, with a focus on spreading the joy, energy and cultural richness of Bhangra within the South Asian dance community.
Known for her infectious energy, powerful movement and dynamic choreography, Tushita brings a style that celebrates both the roots of Bhangra and the larger-than-life energy of Bollywood.
