WORKSHOP di Upcycling Serigrafico con Manisinistre e Vittorio Linfante

Un laboratorio pratico e sperimentale per avvicinarsi al mondo della serigrafia e scoprire come questa tecnica possa diventare strumento creativo di trasformazione. Guidati da Manisinistre e da Vittorio Linfante, i partecipanti impareranno i principi base della stampa serigrafica e li applicheranno direttamente su abiti usati.

Il workshop si aprirà con una breve introduzione teorica alla serigrafia e alla sua storia, seguita dalla presentazione dei design realizzati da Linfante. I partecipanti sceglieranno i capi su cui lavorare, decidendo come abbinarli o trasformarli in pezzi indipendenti. Insieme al team, progetteranno la stampa scegliendo colori, posizionamento e sovrapposizioni.

La seconda parte sarà interamente dedicata alla pratica: con telai serigrafici, banco manuale e inchiostri all’acqua, ognuno potrà stampare con le proprie mani e dare nuova vita ai capi selezionati.

L’obiettivo del workshop è duplice: fornire gli strumenti per comprendere e utilizzare la serigrafia in modo accessibile e divertente, e al tempo stesso stimolare la creatività dei partecipanti nella costruzione di pezzi unici, capaci di raccontare identità e immaginari personali.

Al termine, le creazioni verranno inserite nello swap market del festival Madeback (, presso il Living Lab – TooCoolToGoWasted (Dipartimento di Design), Ed. B4, Campus Bovisa Durando – Politecnico di Milano, dove potranno essere scambiate o adottate dai visitatori, trovando nuova vita.

Screen Printing Upcycling Workshop with Manisinistre and Vittorio LinfanteA practical and experimental workshop to explore the world of screen printing and discover how this technique can become a creative tool for transformation. Guided by Manisinistre and Vittorio Linfante, participants will learn the basic principles of screen printing and apply them directly to second-hand clothing.

The workshop will begin with a brief theoretical introduction to screen printing and its history, followed by a presentation of the designs created by Linfante. Participants will choose the garments they want to work on, deciding how to combine or transform them into independent pieces. Together with the team, they will design the prints by selecting colors, placement, and layering.

The second part will be entirely hands-on: using screens, manual presses, and water-based inks, everyone will have the opportunity to print with their own hands and give new life to the selected garments.

The workshop has a dual purpose: to provide the tools to understand and use screen printing in an accessible and enjoyable way, and at the same time, to stimulate participants’ creativity in creating unique pieces that convey personal identity and imagination.

At the end of the workshop, the creations will be included in the Madeback festival swap market (October 15–17) at the Living Lab – TooCoolToGoWasted (Department of Design), Ed. B4, Campus Bovisa Durando – Politecnico di Milano, where they can be exchanged or adopted by visitors, giving the pieces a new life.
