MADE YOU A MIXTAPE ft. JRGotTheHiTS + Master Student

On Thursday, February 20, we kick off Made You A Mixtape, a new monthly series created and curated by Detroit artist and producer JRGotTheHiTS. Made You A Mixtape is a musical platform for the growing creative endeavors JR has in-flow. In this instance, he's documenting the live musical journey with ultra-limited runs of cassettes as the result. For the debut at Moondog Café, he’s rooting down with Master Student, an ensemble comprised of Cal Scruggs (keybass), Jordan Anderson (keys) and JR (drums) with frequent cameos from Detroit Neo-Jazz family Allen Dennard and Kasan Belgrave.
