Made With Love: A Valentine Making Workshop For All Ages

This all-ages Valentine-making workshop centers on creative process over product, connection, and slowing down together with intention.

You are invited to step into Sparkerland’s immersive art space and make handmade valentines using mixed media and embellishments. Guests will cut, layer, collage, glue, and assemble their own heartfelt creations—whether that means valentines for friends, family, partners, or simply something made just for fun.

Materials include a treasure trove of collage paper, scrap fabric, ribbons, stamps, glitter, paint, and other fun surprises. Dig through the Sparkerland bins and see what ignites your creativity. Participants are free to work at their own pace, experiment, and follow their curiosity in this open-ended art session. This workshop is about process over perfection—embracing shared tables and the joy of making something by hand.

Younger children are encouraged to create playfully, while older kids and adults can dive deeper into more detailed designs. No prior art experience is needed—just bring your curiosity!
