The Made in VA Biennial exhibition presents a dynamic array of perspectives and mediums, each telling a unique story. Sixty-one exceptional artists were chosen to represent the diverse voices, visions, and artistic approaches found within our region.

Artist Nikki Leone challenges norms through unexpected art. As a woman juggling many roles, she seeks creative freedom beyond societal constraints. Leone explores math, science, and design—not for rigid answers but to find beauty in the tension of forms and imagery.

Tell the Bees is more than an exhibition; it’s a conversation. Lean in and whisper your hopes for a thriving environment to the native bees that keep our world green. Beardsley invites us to co-create a sustainable world, one bee at a time.

This interactive space lets you explore the main themes and ideas of the current exhibition through hands-on making, sharing, and personal connections.

Free admission for Virginia residents is generously funded by Sentara and The Sokol Family Foundation. Tickets are required for check-in purposes and allow for entry any time during open hours. All sales for out-of-state (non-Virginia residents) ticket purchases are final.
